My little brother has itunes card money on his account, but he cant use it because when he wants to make a purchase, it asks him to answer some security questions that he doesn't remember now, and there is no recovery email linked to his account, so i cant make up new questions for him. The solution suggested by apple is to call apple support. Damn it! just let the kid buy some games.
Here's an offroad beater for reading.

People bitch about those security questions......right up to the moment when hackers in china who literally just clean-sweep any accounts they can get their hands on get a hold of that money. I can't count how many times those security questions have stopped my gmail, hotmail. WoW, and other accounts from being compromised.

They don't provide much help these days. Security questions stop them from logging on as YOU to make purchases. NOW they hack the servers and steal MILLIONS of people's credit card info in 1 swoop.

They provide a lot more than nothing. Brute force password guessing is still a common problem. The security questions along with location based restrictions (always logging on in the US but then trying to log on in china less than 2 hours later) have stopped quite a few attempts on my accounts.
